Not every building materials purchase is a bulk cement order - here's what's currently tracked at or under KSh 2,000, useful for finishing and smaller repair jobs:
- Tile Grout Grey, 1kg - KSh 100
- Textured Fibre Cement Siding Planks - KSh 900
- Polypropylene Fibre Reinforced Concrete Additive - KSh 1,000
- Reinforced Concrete Fencing Posts (8ft/10ft) - KSh 1,800
- Waterproof Cement Board, 6mm - KSh 2,600 (just over, included for comparison)
Fencing posts at KSh 1,800 each are worth planning carefully - on a 50-post fence line, that's KSh 90,000 before you've bought a single meter of wire or paid for labour, so get the post count exact before ordering rather than rounding up "to be safe."
Additives are cheap insurance
At KSh 1,000 a pack, fibre-reinforced concrete additive is a small add-on cost relative to the structural benefit on a slab or driveway pour - worth budgeting in rather than treating as optional.
